How to get the tax credit for workplace protections and sanitization
The Liquidity Decree (DL No. 23 of 2020) expanded the range of expenses eligible for the tax credit for the sanitization of workplaces and work tools, given to those engaged in business, art or profession. Thus, not only sanitization expenses become eligible, but also the purchase of personal protective equipment including surgical masks (Ffp2 and Ffp3), gloves, protective visors and goggles, protective coveralls and footwear. Also facilitated is the purchase of suitable safety devices to protect workers such as, for example, barriers and protective panels.
The incentive is given, up to a maximum of 20 thousand euros for each beneficiary, to the extent of 50 percent of expenses incurred in the 2020 tax period.
